Computers have now become an essential part of working life. However, very few people know how to take full advantage of the benefits information technology offers. Quest offers training to enable your staff to become an 'expert user', more able to cope when the unexpected happens and able to provide help and support to other users in the workplace.

IT User Diploma Level 2 and 3
Aimed at people or organisations wanting to improve their use of information and communication technology. The qualification provides learning across a wide range of subjects that include a variety of software applications, setup and optimising computer systems and general use of ICT.  The IT User Diploma is a credit based qualification with 38 credits required for the achievement of the Level 2 Diploma and 39 for the achievement of the Level 3 Diploma.

Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in ICT Professional Competence

Aimed at people working in the IT industry and includes health and safety in IT, software installation and upgrade, testing IT systems, security of IT systems, working with IT hardware and equipment, investigation and defining requirements, system management, system operation, quality management of IT products and services, technical advice and guidance, technical fault diagnosis, intranets, internet and e-mail.  The Diplomas are credit based qualifications with 48 credits required for the achievement of Level 2 and 72 credits for the achievement of Level 3.

Advanced Apprenticeships in Information Technology
Information technology advanced apprenticeships are designed for young people who have the potential to become managers or supervisors.  They lead to a Level 3 IT User Diploma or an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence, key skills and a further certified qualification essential for a successful career in the computer industry.

Apprenticeships in Information Technology
Apprenticeships are aimed at school and college leavers and lead to a Level 2 IT User Diploma or an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence, a technical certificate and key skills.

Free IT Training and Short Courses
All young people working towards an NVQ with Quest are offered the opportunity to attend Quest's commercial IT Training and other Short Courses free of charge.
