Quest is a partner in a CoVE in Administration with Bexley Training Group and a CoVE in Logistics with Quantica Training.
What is a CoVE?
A CoVE is an area of training provision within a college or work-based learning provider recognised as delivering vocational training that meets the needs of employers and the economy.
What do CoVEs do?
When an area of provision is awarded CoVE status it means it is able to improve its existing specialist provision and develop new provision focused on meeting the skills needs of employers. It will also give individuals from all backgrounds the opportunity to access the type of high quality vocational training they need to succeed in a modern economy.
What are the aims of CoVEs?
- Increase the number of adults in east London with a Level 3 qualification
- Increase the number of apprentices
- Encourage greater collaboration and sharing of good practice among providers
- Widen participation in learning
- Increase the number of employers participating in CoVE training programmes
What do Quest's CoVEs offer employers?
- Recruitment and training of apprentices aged 16 - 24
- NVQ Levels 2, 3 & 4 in Administration, Customer Service, IT and Management
- EDI Certificate in Administration Levels 2 & 3
- Customised training programmes designed to meet business needs
- The new Train to Gain national programme for employees without a Level 2 qualification
- Short Business Courses in writing skills, telephone techniques, customer service and report writing
- IT Training (including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, etc)
- Room Hire for meetings and training sessions
